Wow, unbelievable case. I bought this for large astronomy binoculars (the kind that must be mounted on a tripod to use). The case is large enough for them and it it big enough for some large lens filters as well. It is huge! When I put my binoculars in I could immediately see the binoculars and the expensive solar filters were safe. It feels sturdy and rugged, but it is also pretty light for the size and strength. The handle extends far enough that I can easily wheel the case around. I have never purchased a case like this where I had to pull out the padding to make room for an object so I was a little worried, but it was very easy. I laid the binoculars on the foam padding in the center of the case and pulled out some padding under the four corners of the binoculars. Then I pulled padding out to connect the four corners. I made it a little smaller than the actual outline of the binoculars then slowly and carefully expanded the cavity in the foam padding following the outline of the binoculars until the binoculars slipped in. I did the same with the solar filters. The entire process took less than 30 minutes. I am very pleased with this super case.
