I was wary when buying this, quality is good. The magnet sticks well too.Fit perfectly and is a solid well made piece. The magnet is strong yet is easy to move when selecting new weights. This is better than the manufactured piece that came with my stack. Highly recommend.I have a maxicam cable machine commercial grade in my garage gym. This pin fits perfectly in 3/8 hole, the magnet works great and holds pin very satisfying feeling to pop pin in. Very ergonomic (why I picked this design) to use fingers to change weight. And looks sick. I cut off the bungee string just personal preference. The string did look much thinner then the original pin string that came with but I think would still work fine I just like it this way.This is a well made and nicely finished Weight stack pin for my Universal Gym (Northern Lights brand). It looks nice and is beefier than the original. I had lost the factory "L" Shaped Pin and needed a replacement. This was slightly longer which required me to cut about 1/8" off the end. The magnet is a washer that is held in place by the threaded pin at the handle and must be inserted fully into the plate stack to make contact. I would prefer the magnet to be stronger but so far it has held without any issues.Product looks good and is well built but magnetic it is not and it does not at all work with my Marcy home gym at all, just continues to slide right out as soon as you lift the weights.Would not recommend you spend the money at all at this point and instead look at getting a similar key like your own home gym with the special locking ends to make it safe for everyone using it.I've only had it a few days, but so far so good. It works exactly as intended and the magent seems fine.Great product
