I looked at some brands specifically geared towards gamers and heavy computer use with the optical amber tints from 35 to 95. These are the lighter end.I've only had so-so performance from cheaper readers claiming blue light blocking. Usually the focus was the problem, with 1.5's actually less, or 1.75's actually more. These are both blue light blocking with an included test kit I used for all my readers, throwing out a handful of subpar ones.I wish I could find affordable glass lenses, but these seem rugged enough to avoid scratches. Straight outta the hard-sided lens case, putting them on was a "wow" experience compared to other readers.While not a big name in gaming, they are a big win for me with future purchases. I typically break readers, no matter how rugged - no matter how careful I am - so I wanted affordable and quality. These work for both check boxes.Great quality for the price.
