This bag holds everything I need for derby and then some. I used to juggle three bags for my gear, but I was able to consolidate them all into this one with room to spare. It is freaking *huge* though. I think the youth bag would have been big enough for what I need, and this one will be a struggle to get into my tiny car, but it'll make lugging my stuff around much easier! This bag was long awaited by my 10 year old. We finally purchased this one at a great price with fast shipping. The red and black option was great for our team colors. The 33” is the same size all her teammates have and it’s great for all of her gear. It’s very cumbersome to maneuver the bag though. The construction is solid but it’s a bit awkward. I guess I was picturing it to function like a large suit case would, but this is no where as easy to pull as that. Maybe the wheels will loosen up over time and become easier to pull. It’s also a bit awkward for my to pull as an adult based on height. I’m only 5’7” but my daughter at 4’11” has an easier time with the angle required to tilt and pull. I find myself just wishing I had a hand strap on the side to grab it and pick it up rather than wheeling it around. I’d also like to see handles on the front pocket and/or sides. Currently using the stick loops as handles to get it in/out of the trunk, along with the top handle (not trying to drag to wheels across the bumper like my child ends up doing. Overall, we’d buy it again for the interior space, but for this price point, would hope for better functionality. My 10u player loves the bag.Came quick and in great shape. Very happy with the Grit 36" tower bag.I bought 2 for my boys, their hockey equipment fits great and much easier to get around, they are 8 and 10 and can carry their own equipment now.Purchased this for my preteen son. Love having a spot for all of his gear and keeps it organized. Easy for me to carry with the side strap or for him to roll. So far it has handled the wear and tear of practices and tournaments very well. This is our second GRIT hockey tower bag. I would recommend the 36” for larger kids and teens. We’ve previously had the shorter one but it doesn’t fit all of his pads easily now that he has larger chest pads, shin guards, and breezers. What I love most about this design is that there is a place for everything in the bag. So all of my son’s stuff is nicely organized and I am not searching through a vast cavern of equipment trying to find what I need to help him get dressed.I also love the removable mesh bag on the inside front. I keep socks and jerseys in there so I can just take that in for washing instead of digging through the bag to find what needs to be cleaned for the next practice or game.In my photos you can see the before and after. Before is while we were waiting for this bag to arrive since our other one is in storage. (We just moved.)The bags are well made and I love that they breathe. Good strong zippers and mesh pockets. The only downside is that this bag is bulky but any hockey bag would be bulky. I did not consider this when I bought a Prius...My son used to have the same model but the immediate smaller size. As he grew up, he is now 5'8" his Ice Hockey sticks did too. So getting this bag has been another great investment. All his Ice Hockey gear, helmet, etc. fit nicely inside this bag as well as his sticks outside. It's cool seeing him pulling the bag when he goes inside the Ice Rink or leaves it after his practice or after a game. On the opposite side you see other kids, Ice Hockey players too, with huge bags bigger than themselves, no wheels, literally fighting to their own bags because they are heavy, they put on the handles on one of their shoulders and it is difficult to enter or leave narrow aisles. A must to have for a teen Ice Hockey player. This is a good size bag for the children. A little small for the tall parents to pull it and the strap is too long for the bag even if you shorten it when you pull the bag so you have to remove it unless you’re carrying it. I’m removing a start because the quality of the stitches of the hockey stick holder strap was terrible and I had to get it stitched up as soon as I received the bag. This bag was bought for our daughter who is a field hockey goalie. She loves the bag. It is something different than the obo bag. It’s very well made and functional.Separate compartments and the mat to stand on when getting changed are super helpful extras.Fabulous bag for junior hockey. Holds all equipment for U16 player but more important as a parent it means you and them can see at a glance if anything is missing, no more pieces of equipment being forgotten for practice or left behind in the changing room. The air vents at the back are a god send for keeping air circulating around the equipment. A place for everything in the bag also means the equipment is looked after better for longer.son loves itI should have bought you boy the biggest one
